Mark Cunningham gave birth to the seminal No Wave scene in the early 70′s along with Arto Lindsay and others. Putting aside the training on trumpet he had learned since age seven, he formed the group Mars with Sumner Crane, Nancy Arlen and Lucy Hamilton, performing around the NYC area during the mid to late 70′s, and taking part in the infamous No New York LP, produced by Brian Eno. Later on he reclaimed the trumpet as his instrument of choice, creating the band Don King and participating in and producing Sumner Crane‘s no wave opera John Gavanti. He began a series of ongoing lifelong collaborations with artists such as Lydia Lunch, Christian Marclay, Rudolph Grey, J.G Thirlwell, and Etant Donnes. In the early 90′s he moved to Barcelona where he developed the concept of Raeo and began working with Pascal Comelade in his Bel Canto Orchestra as well as taking part in projects and concerts with other groups such as Superelvis and Butch Morris. In 1997 his first solo release, Blood River Dusk, defined a dreamy cascade of environmental sounds as his trademark. Later he joined Genesis P-Orridge in Thee Majesty as a floating member. His other projects include Convolution with Silvia Mestres, Aleatory Grammar with Jakob Draminsky Hojmark, and Bèstia Ferida with Adrián de Alfonso and Arnau Sala Saez.

Rubén Patiño works in the field of computer music, an activity he combines with incursions in the installation field. Patiño’s works are characterised by an interest in spatialisation and non sinestetic audio visual relations. He has performed solo across Europe, as well as collaborated with Morten J. Olsen,  Roc Jiménez de Cisneros, Olivier Di Placido and Seiji Morimoto. Originally from Barcelona  he is currently pursuing a masters degree in Sonology at the Royal Conservatory in the Hague.

Vactor is the band of Ivy Barkakati and Arnau Sala Saez. In this project, which started in 2011, the couple focuses on building songs that run the gamut from intuitive real-time composition thru dance music to pop. Their sounds result in cinematic melodies, sometimes in a minimalistic form, others mutating into far more intricate scenarios. The band sticks to their tools, arpeggiated synthesizers, creeping drum-machine and a voice, with lyrics about process and overcoming obstacles.
